Design for Manufacturing (DfM)

The most beautiful design is useless if it cannot be produced economically. That's why we integrate design for manufacturing into every development process right from the start. We know the requirements of injection moulding, CNC milling, sheet metal processing and additive manufacturing processes. And we design your product so that it can be manufactured cost-effectively and in high quality.

Prototyping & Testing

Before your product goes into series production, it has to be convincing - functionally, haptically and visually. We use our SLA 3D printer (XiP by NEXA3D) to create prototypes in injection moulding quality. Our FDM printer (Pro3 by Raise) enables multi-coloured functional prototypes for realistic tests.

Our development process

1st concept phase

We analyse your requirements, the market and technical feasibility. Together we define specifications and develop initial concept sketches. At the end of this phase, you will know exactly where the journey is heading.

2-6 weeks

2. design & engineering

Sketches become precise CAD models. We develop the design down to the last detail, take production processes into account and create initial digital prototypes. Regular reviews ensure that we stay on course.

4-8 weeks

3. prototyping & testing

Your product becomes tangible. We create high-quality prototypes for tests, presentations and meetings with investors. Feedback flows directly into optimisations.

4-12 weeks

4. industrialisation

We create production-ready CAD data and technical drawings for your production. On request, we support you in the selection of manufacturing partners and accompany the sampling process.
