Precious wooden boxes for collectors' items.<\/p>

The company vonrickenbach.swiss ag was able to produce fine wooden caskets for knife collectors' items for Victorinox.<\/p>

One of the coveted Swiss Army Knives, the number 30, was auctioned on eBay for Charity Auction from 27 August 2021. The proceeds of the auction were donated to the charity \"A Heart for Children\".<\/p>

We were allowed to support vonrickenbach.swiss ag in the final design, to create the 3D CAD construction as well as 3D visualisations of the wooden casket.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The starting point was a technical drawing by vonrickenbach.swiss ag.\u00a0<\/p>

Many people cannot imagine from a technical drawing what the product will finally look like.<\/p>

A 3D visualisation can help. First of all, a 3D CAD construction is created.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

3D CAD

Based on the technical drawing, we designed the wooden casket three-dimensionally in Solidworks 2021.<\/p>

The resulting 3D data was used for the creation of photorealistic 3D visualisations as well as for production (CNC milling).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In the visualisation programme CINEMA 4D we created a small digital \"photo\" studio. In this studio we placed, materialised and rendered the wooden box.<\/p>

The result is a photo-realistic representation of the noble wooden box made of cherry wood for Victorinox.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
