This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with this website. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In short: This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, does not use Google Analytics and does not load fonts from Google. We only receive data if you actively write to us, submit a form, book an appointment or start a video.

hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel on servers in Switzerland. When a page is accessed, the server automatically stores technical information in log files: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system. We need this data for secure and stable operation. It is not combined with other data and is automatically deleted after a short period. The connection is encrypted with TLS (https).

cookies and tracking

We do not use cookies for analytics, marketing or advertising purposes, and no tracking. Fonts, images, 3D models and scripts are loaded from our own server.

project check, contact and whitepaper forms

When you submit the project check, the contact form or the whitepaper form, we receive your details by email: depending on the form, your name, company, email address, phone number, your answers and your message. We use this data to respond to your enquiry, send you the whitepaper and, if applicable, prepare a quote. To prevent misuse, your IP address is stored briefly to limit the number of requests.

We do not pass this data on to third parties and keep it for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any business relationship, or as required by law. We only send newsletters with your express consent.

appointment booking (google calendar)

For booking an intro call, we link to Google’s appointment booking (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). Data is only transferred to Google once you open this link; Google processes your booking details (name, email, requested time) on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the USA. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

videos (youtube)

We embed videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode via youtube-nocookie.com. No connection to YouTube is established before you click “Play”. Only when you click is data such as your IP address transmitted to YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.), possibly also to the USA.

email, phone and linkedin

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to respond to your request. Links to LinkedIn are simple links; data is only transmitted to LinkedIn when you click the link.

your rights

You can request information about the data we hold about you at any time, and ask for it to be corrected, deleted or handed over, or object to its processing. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To do so, write to pirmin@peppertree.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority – in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

data security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted transmission and spam protection without external services.

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
