Product Visualisation / 3D Rendering
3d product rendering: product images without a photo shoot.
A 3D product rendering is a photorealistic image calculated from a 3D model. Peppertree creates cut-outs, lifestyle scenes, cross-sections and variants directly from your CAD data – perfectly lit and before the first prototype exists.

FAQ
frequently asked questions
What is a 3D product rendering?
A 3D product rendering is a photorealistic image calculated from a digital 3D model instead of being taken with a camera. Material, light and perspective can be chosen freely – even before the product physically exists.
How much does a product rendering cost?
Simple single images based on clean CAD data start in the three-digit franc range. Lifestyle scenes, elaborate material development or large image series are in the four- to five-digit range.
How quickly are the images ready?
Simple cut-outs are often ready within a few days. Elaborate in-context or lifestyle scenes usually take 1 to 3 weeks.
Do I need CAD data?
CAD data such as STEP, IGES or OBJ is ideal. If you don’t have it, technical drawings with dimensions are usually enough – Peppertree then builds the 3D model itself.
Are renderings cheaper than a photo shoot?
With many variants and product changes, usually yes: colours, materials and perspectives can be changed on the existing 3D model – no new shoot, studio or samples needed.
